Our History
It was 1989. The internet had just been invented. Kylie & Jason were at number one. And we (under the name Teamsearch) opened our doors. Started by one qual researcher and her dog, we operated from a tiny office behind the local swimming baths in Halifax. Over three decades later and with 150+ staff, 10,000 projects and a million surveys completed we became Field Locker.
In the research sector we provide data collection to small independents as well as the largest agencies. We’re even the go-to agency for those already with inhouse resources because we are trusted to get the job done.
Outside of the sector we collaborate with digital, branding & advertising agencies, as well as working with both SMEs and global brands directly.
We encourage our team to challenge how we do things every day. Just because ‘that’s how it’s always been done’ does not mean it is the best way. Can we do it better, quicker, more cost effectively.
Our experience is vast and it is that experience that has given us the opportunity to learn from the 10,000 + projects, understand what works and doesn’t work to ultimately give you the best service and data.
It’s a mindset. If our desks are tidy and organised then how we run your projects will be the same! It also reflects how we value every client & project the same. From small acorns mighty oaks grow.
